The tournament, being held Wednesday through Saturday, one week before the famed Masters PGA tournament, is the first women’s tournament ever to be played on the hallowed grounds of Augusta National.

Some of the best amateur women golfers in the world are taking part in the tournament, which includes 36 holes of stroke play at Champions Retreat golf Club in Augusta over the first two days. After two rounds, the 72-player field will be cut to the top 30 players, who will compete in the championship final round at prestigious Augusta National.

In her opening round on Wednesday, Soo shot a score of nine-over-par 81, which placed her in a tie for 69th after 18 holes.
