The 9th-ranked men’s Oklahoma golf team finished second in the NCAA Norman Regional and advanced to the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship May 26-31 at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The Sooners shot a 54-hole score of 25-under-par 839, three strokes back of regional champion Alabama. Colorado (-23, 839) captured third, Texas Tech (-22, 840), the top seed in the Norman Regional, was fourth and Duke shined on the final day, shooting nine-under 275 in the final round to finish at 21-under, 843 and capture the fifth and final spot in the regional round to move on to the NCAA Championship.
