Oklahoma golf: Brad Dalke wins 3 of 4 matches as U.S. wins Palmer Cup

The U.S. won this year’s competition 38.5 to 21.5, with Dalke winning three of his four matches in the four-day, match-play tournament played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Evian-les-Baines, France.

OU’s Ryan Hybl coached the U.S. team and became the first head coach to win the annual competition after having also played in it as a collegian. Hybl played his collegiate golf at the University of Georgia. While at Georgia, he played on the U.S. Palmer Cup team that defeated a team from Great Britain and Ireland.

Dalke won his mixed fourball match on Day 1, playing with partner Jamie Freedman of Nova Southeastern.
