Tight end Jalin Conyers, a four-star 2020 prospect from Gruver, Texas, committed to Oklahoma on Friday.
Conyers announced his decision on Twitter.
"Coming from Gruver, I had to prove myself to the nation," Conyers said in a video announcing his decision. "Basketball has always been my first love. But through all my hard work and dedication I've put in, fate has brought me here. I want to thank my family, coaches, teammates and the community for all their support.
"And after a lot of prayer, I've decided I'm committing to ... Boomer Sooner."
Gruver is a tiny town in the Texas panhandle, a little more than 30 miles south of Guymon.
