NORMAN — Oklahoma added former five-star quarterback prospect Kyler Murray to its roster last month and he will surely be a strong competitor for the starting job in 2017.
But can he help the Sooners out in another sport, too?
Murray, also an exceptional baseball talent who could have signed a professional contract right out of Allen (Texas) High School, had planned on playing baseball at Texas A&M this spring.
As a true freshman quarterback with the Aggies, he started three games and appeared in eight, completing 59.5 percent of his pass attempts for 686 yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions.
