Oklahoma football: Will Austin Kendall start for West Virginia?

West Virginia quarterback Austin Kendall, who transferred from OU in January, is tied for the 13th-best odds to win the Heisman Trophy, according to BetOnline.AG.

But will he even start for the Mountaineers?

Neither Kendall nor WVU veteran Jack Allison came out of the spring with the endorsement of new coach Neal Brown. West Virginia will not bring a quarterback to Big 12 Media Days next week in Arlington, though that’s nothing out of the ordinary. Only two quarterbacks are scheduled to appear – Texas’ Sam Ehlinger and Kansas State’s Skylar Thompson.
