Last week, the Sooner offensive lineman was named to the 2015 Academic All-America Team for the second time in as many seasons. This week, Darlington learned that he is the winner of the 2015 Wuerffel Trophy. The award is given every season to the college player who best combines exemplary community service along with academic and athletic achievement.
Darlington, who has completed his undergraduate studies and is now in graduate school, has a 4.0 grade average. He is studying adult and higher education with an emphasis on intercollegiate athletics administration. He is in his second semester of graduate work.
