NORMAN — Oklahoma remained ranked third in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, released Tuesday on ESPN.
The entire top four stayed the same as last week, with Clemson at No. 1, Alabama at No. 2 and Iowa ranked fourth. All three of those teams play in conference championship games this weekend, while Oklahoma has already wrapped up the Big 12 championship with last weekend’s 58-23 rout of Oklahoma State.
The Sooners finished the regular season 4-0 against teams ranked in the playoff committee’s current top-25. Tennessee moved into this week’s rankings at No. 25.
TCU is ranked 11th this week, Baylor is 12th and Oklahoma State is 17th.
