Oklahoma football: Sooners quarterback commit Chris Robison shines at Dallas Rivals Camp

NORMAN — Oklahoma 2017 quarterback commit Chris Robison starred last weekend at the Dallas Rivals Camp, earning position MVP honors and an invitation to Rivals’ Five-Star Challenge in Baltimore this summer.

Robison, from Horn High School in Mesquite, Texas, has been committed to the Sooners since last June. He is currently ranked by Rivals as the No. 96 overall player — and the sixth-best dual-threat quarterback — in the 2017 recruiting class.

All told, six OU commits participated in the Dallas camp last weekend. Those future Sooners included Robison; defensive backs Robert Barnes (Southlake, Texas), Justin Broiles (John Marshall) and Tre Brown (Tulsa Union); linebacker Levi Draper (Collinsville); and offensive lineman Tyrese Robinson (McKinney, Texas).
