STILLWATER — Oklahoma linebacker Eric Striker shudders when he thinks about his last trip to Boone Pickens Stadium.
After scooping up a fumble and scoring a touchdown as time expired, Oklahoma State receiver Charlie Moore delivered a violent hit on Striker in the end zone. Then an OSU cheerleader reached out his foot and attempted to trip a celebrating Striker before angry Cowboy fans — who'd just been denied a Big 12 championship by their bitter rival — jawed with OU players and heaved turkey legs, snowballs and frozen water bottles onto the field at them.
“I should've kept my helmet on,” Striker said.
