Davon Mitchell, a 5-star tight end from Los Alamitos, CA, committed today to the Brent Venables-led Oklahoma football program. In perhaps the most significant commitment since Jackson Arnold and easily the biggest grab of the 2023-2024 campaign, Mitchell committed to the Sooners over last-minute charges from the nation’s blue bloods.
Mitchell is a 6-foot, 4-inch, 245-pound tight end who easily ranks as the top tight end in the class of 2024.
