NORMAN — Oklahoma landed another linebacker commitment Sunday morning from Lackawanna Community College’s Emmanuel Beal, who was in Norman on an official visit this weekend.
Beal is the second Lackawanna linebacker to commit to Oklahoma this weekend alone. Kapri Doucet gave his verbal commitment Friday, and another Lackawanna player — offensive lineman Ashton Julious — is already enrolled at OU for the spring semester.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker becomes the Sooners’ third commitment since Thursday, joining Doucet and defensive end Amani Bledsoe. OU also saw wide receiver Velus Jones commit and decommit within a 24-hour period this weekend.
