MIAMI — The Sooners arrived in muggy Miami on Saturday. Not all together.
Some were on the United team charter from Oklahoma City. Others came in on American's 737 from Austin. A horde was on American's 777 out of DFW. Others came in from various ports.
It's all good. These Sooners are accustomed to such mixing and matching. Their spartan locker room back home demanded it.
OU plays Clemson in the Orange Bowl on Thursday night, and chemistry is labeled a cornerstone of these Sooners' success. That's always trite. Does chemistry beget winning, or does winning beget chemistry?
