The voters in both the Associated Press and Coaches Poll rankings are losing faith in the 2021 edition of Oklahoma football.
The Sooners came away with their fourth consecutive win of the season on Saturday, albeit in unimpressive style, making it three wins by a combined 16 points by a team that began the 2021 season ranked No. 2 in the nation.
Despite what was literally a last-second 16-13 home win over West Virginia, Oklahoma dropped one spot, to No. 4, in the Coaches Poll this week and fell two spots, to No. 6, in the AP Top 25.
