After a short break for Christmas, Oklahoma traveled to Miami on Saturday and resumed practices for Thursday's Orange Bowl against Clemson (3 p.m., ESPN).
The Sooners flew into Miami, arriving early in the afternoon and then going through a practice early in the evening.
“We're all ready,” linebacker Dominique Alexander said. “Mentally, physically, we're ready.”
While some of the players, especially the ones from Oklahoma, traveled together to Miami, most of the players met at the team hotel after traveling from their homes.
The Sooners will practice at Barry University, a small Catholic university just north of Miami.
