Oklahoma football recruiting is gaining momentum, as it was expected to in June and July, with the commitment of four-star defensive lineman Jayden Jackson to the Sooners’ 2024 class.
The highly touted defensive lineman chose the Sooners over offers from Texas, Ohio State, Florida and home-state Miami among others. The 6-foot, 2-inch, 290-pound Jackson is a teammate of David Stone at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Brent Venables and Oklahoma’s defensive line coach Todd Bates are also in heavy pursuit to land the five-star DL Stone in the 2024 class.
