NORMAN — Oklahoma released its Week One depth chart Monday evening. You can check that out here.
I wanted to get the depth chart posted as quickly as possible, but want to use this post to give a few quick thoughts about it. There were a couple surprises.
* Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon topping the running back position is no surprise at all, obviously, but I was a little surprised that Daniel Brooks is No. 3 and Alex Ross isn’t listed. Ross was the team’s second-leading rusher last season, averaged 6.8 yards per carry and even started last year’s season opener.
