NORMAN — Oklahoma’s annual Pro Day is scheduled for Wednesday inside the Everest Training Center. On this day each year, NFL coaches and scouts descend upon Norman to get a look at the Sooners’ pro prospects.
There will be 22 former Sooners participating Wednesday, including nine guys who weren’t part of last year’s team. The most notable name on the list is Ryan Broyles, who was at one time the NCAA’s all-time receptions leader and one of the greatest receivers in OU football history.
Broyles played three NFL seasons with the Detroit Lions from 2012-14, catching 32 passes for 420 yards and two touchdowns.
