NORMAN — Oklahoma quarterback commitment Chris Robison came in at No. 76 on the first Rivals100 rankings for the recruiting class of 2017.
Robison, from Mesquite, Texas, is the Sooners’ only 2017 commit. He gave new OU offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley his commitment on June 26.
Robison is the second quarterback commitment Riley has landed since he arrived in Norman in January. The Sooners also have Austin Kendall — a four-star prospect from Waxhaw, N.C. — committed for the class of 2016.
OU didn’t sign a quarterback in its 2015 recruiting class. It was the first quarterback-less signing class for the Sooners since 2005.
