Out of Gruver High School, Conyers is the No. 3 tight end, No. 39 player in the state of Texas and the No. 237 player in the country according to 247 Sports. He chose Oklahoma football over offers from Georgia, Ohio State, LSU, Michigan and Texas.
Conyers is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound versitile athlete who has played quarterback, cornerback, wide receiver and tight end – which will likely be his college position.
Conyers’ speed and size will cause Sooner fans to draw comparisons to Mark Andrews and Grant Calcaterra and should keep the Sooner offensive machine humming right along at the tight end position.
