Oklahoma has a made strong use of the H-back position (also thought of as a fullback) under both Bob Stoops and Lincoln Riley. In recent years, players such as J.D. Runnels, Trey Millard, Dimitri Flowers and last season Carson Meier. In the Sooner offense, the H-back serves as a blocking back and also is utilized as a receiving option out of the backfield and also is asked to run the ball in certain situations.
In 2012, Millard rushed for 198 yards, averaging six yards per carry and also caught 30 passes for 337 yards and four touchdowns.
