NORMAN — Kendal Thompson was back at OU on Wednesday, participating in his first of two Pro Days this month.
Thompson, who spent his first three college seasons at Oklahoma before transferring to Utah for his final two years, is hoping to display versatility for NFL coaches and scouts. He primarily played quarterback at OU on Wednesday, but will focus on wide receiver work March 24 at Utah.
“A lot of teams like my versatility, with my height and stuff,” Thompson said. “I’m average sized for a quarterback but I’m actually good sized for a receiver. They’re gonna see me play special teams and things like that, so I’ve gotta be as versatile as I can.
