NORMAN — Oklahoma picked up an important commitment Friday from junior college linebacker Kapri Doucet.
Doucet, who was committed to Arizona until defensive coordinator Jeff Casteel’s firing earlier this month, becomes the Sooners’ 15th commitment in the 2016 signing class.
He’s also the second 2016 Sooner commit from Lackawanna Community College in Scranton, Pa., joining offensive lineman Ashton Julious.
Doucet is the third 2016 linebacker commit for OU. The Sooners also have commitments from Tulsa Victory Christian’s Jon-Michael Terry and Bryce Youngquist (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.).
