Oklahoma football: Jalen Hurts’ numbers climb as Sooners hit historic highs

Hurts passed for 413 yards and three touchdowns, 308 of that total coming in the first half as the Sooners took a 34-10 advantage into the locker room at halftime. The Alabama transfer also ran for 70 yards and collected a rushing touchdown to give him four for the day in a little over two and a half quarters of work.

With Hurts directing the offensive charge, Oklahoma scored on all six of its first-half possessions and eight of its first nine. Hurts’ 413 yards passing was a career high.

The Sooners totaled 642 yards of offense in the game, the fourth time they have exceeded 600 yards this season and the first time in school history they have done it in four straight games.
