The Sooners are replacing four starters on the offensive line and Proctor’s experience would be welcomed as the Sooners reload for the 2019 season.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Proctor has started 11 games for Virginia despite battling through a knee injury last season and is already a prospect on many 2020 draft boards. While the Sooners are bringing up several talented prospects at the guard position, none have the game experience Proctor can provide.
Proctor has drawn interest from several blue-blood collegiate programs including Ohio State, Penn State, Florida State, Texas and others.
