One of the toughest things in college sports is to beat a team twice in the same season. That is the task that the Sooners have in front of them in the Big 12 Championship on Saturday, when they will face TCU for a second time in the 2017 season, this time with much higher stakes.
Oklahoma (11-1, 8-1) and TCU (10-2, 7-2) will go against each other in an 11:30 a.m. kickoff at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as the Sooners shoot for their 11th Big 12 championship and third in succession.
The Sooners hope to welcome in the month of December by taking home another Big 12 team trophy, and follow that up a week later by having their All-American quarterback Baker Mayfield cart home another coveted piece of hardware, the Heisman Trophy, as the most outstanding player in the 2017 college football season.
