NORMAN — Former Oklahoma football players Sterling Shepard, Eric Striker, Charles Tapper, Devante Bond and Nila Kasitati have received invitations to the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine, sources close to those players told The Oklahoman.
Shepard finished his OU career with 3,482 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns. The former Heritage Hall superstar was a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist in 2015 and was twice named to the All-Big 12 first team.
Shepard’s late father, Derrick, was an OU receiver in the 1980s and went on to play five NFL seasons.
Striker established himself as one of the nation’s elite pass rushers over the last three seasons.
