NORMAN — Freshman tight end Dalton Wood reported to the Oklahoma football program Wednesday along with the rest of the team, sources told The Oklahoman.
According to one source, it wasn’t a surprise when Wood didn’t report Wednesday, but that fact doesn’t necessarily close the door on his chances of being a Sooner this year.
Wood (6-foot-4, 250 pounds) has not been with the team since reporting for summer workouts June 3, then mysteriously packing his belongings and leaving that night. He has not responded to multiple text messages and phone calls since that time.
