Oklahoma football: Connor Knight staying with Sooners

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — In all likelihood, Trevor Knight’s final game as an Oklahoma Sooner came in Thursday’s 37-17 Orange Bowl loss to Clemson.

But regardless of his future, expect another Knight back in Norman for his final season of eligibility.

Trevor’s twin brother, Connor, said he will return for his redshirt senior year.

“I’m gonna stay and finish out here at Oklahoma,” Connor Knight said. “I love this place. I love the opportunities that I’ve had and I’d really like to continue to contribute with this team and finish a Sooner.”

Connor Knight has appeared in all 26 of the Sooners’ games over the past two seasons, mostly on special teams.
