Oklahoma F Dante Buford to transfer after three seasons with program

Oklahoma F Dante Buford will transfer away from the program, Sooners coach Lon Kruger announced Thursday.

Buford enrolled at OU in 2014 and redshirted his first season. Most recently, he started four games during the 2016-17 season and averaged 3.8 points per game while shooting 39 percent from the floor.

He missed the first three games of the season because of NCAA violations during the 2016 NCAA Tournament and was forced to sit out of OU's Jan. 28 game against Florida because of "alarm clock issues" earlier in the week.

Buford joins G Darrion-Strong Moore in transferring from Oklahoma this offseason.
