NORMAN, Okla. — Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley was quick to defend former Sooner Kyler Murray after reports surfaced that he struggled during NFL combine interviews.
NFL Network analyst Charley Casserly reported that teams were critical of his leadership, board work, study habits and work ethic, among other things.
Suffice it to say Riley, who says NFL teams called him to rave about Murray after the combine, disagreed with that assessment.
"You're gonna (go on TV) and talk like you're an expert about somebody that you've never met," Riley said at his pre-spring press conference Wednesday afternoon.
