Oklahoma CB Jordan Thomas will return for his senior season in 2017, foregoing the NFL Draft, the junior tweeted Wednesday.
Thomas hauled in just one interception this season after nabbing five in 2015, including one returned for a touchdown. He led the Big 12 with 16 pass breakups and tallied 44 total tackles in 2016.
With Thomas returning, Oklahoma's secondary, which struggled for much of this season, will likely only have to replace S Ahmad Thomas in 2017. Both true freshman CB Jordan Parker and junior S Steven Parker are expected to return.
Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield and OT Orlando Brown have announced their intentions to return for the 2017 season, as well.
