Oklahoma's tip time for its Jan. 30 trip to Baton Rouge, La., to face LSU was set Monday as part of the official announcement of the scheduling of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
The game, featuring two of the leading candidates for national player of the year in the Sooners' Buddy Hield and LSU's Ben Simmons, will tip at 4 p.m. and be televised on ESPN.
Hield, a senior from the Bahamas, is averaging 26.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in helping the Sooners to a 13-1 start and a No. 2 ranking.
Simmons, a 6-foot-10 freshman forward from Australia, is considered a likely No.
