In addition to his 25 points, the Sooners senior guard James grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds, and sophomore Brady Manek drained five of eight three balls in contributing 17 points as Oklahoma improved its record to 7-1 on the season.
Two other Sooners finished in double digits in the scoring column with Aaron Calixte contributing 12 points and Matt Freeman putting in 11.
Oklahoma shot 47 percent for the game and made 15 of 29 from three-point range (51.7 percent), while holding the Fighting Irish to 41.
