Since then, head coach Lon Kruger has been a very busy man, and three new players have signed on to play at OU next season.
The latest recruiting acquisition is Aaron Calixte, a veteran point guard who has agreed to come to Oklahoma as a graduate transfer from the University of Maine. Kruger has been targeting Calixte ever since he learned the recent graduate was considering playing his final season of eligibility somewhere else. The Sooner head coach was hopeful he could get the Maine point guard to select Oklahoma.
On Tuesday, Calixte (pronounced “ca-LIX-tee”) announced his intention to become a Sooner for his final collegiate season.
