ANAHEIM, Calif.—It's “weird” for Oklahoma's Buddy Hield to watch Oregon play.
“You kind of watch yourself out there,” Hield said Friday, one day before he and the Sooners take on Oregon in the West Regional final of the NCAA Tournament. “You've got guys that can shoot it, guys that can make plays. Oregon's a team that can go, and they can spread you around the court.”
There are differences — Oklahoma leans more heavily on the 3-pointer, and the Ducks spend plenty of time in a match-up zone defense — but there are more similarities, which figures to lead to an energized game.
