The Sooners put together one of their best all-around games of the season, shooting 58 percent and committing just four turnovers to survive round one and advance to the round of 32. Oklahoma will play No. 1 Virginia on Sunday at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina.
Seniors Christian James and Rashard Odomes, both of whom played on the Oklahoma 2016 Final Four team, contributed 20 points each, and Kristian Doolittle and Brady Manek contributed 19 and 18 points each as the Sooners reached 20 wins for the season.
