The 19th-ranked Sooners (13-3, 2-2) are a perfect 5-0 at Lloyd Noble Center this season, and home has suited them well when paired against K-State the past five seasons. OU is 4-1 against Kansas State in Norman and 63-27 all-time.
The OU-K-State takes on a little extra emotional tug for Oklahoma head coach Lon Kruger. Kruger was two-time Big Eight Player of the Year while playing for the Wildcats in the early 1970s and also coached the team from 1986-90. Kruger, in his seventh season as the Sooners’ head coach, is 6-8 all-time against his alma mater while at Oklahoma.
