One of those roster additions is Brady Manek, a freshman, four-star prospect out of Harrah, Oklahoma. The 6-foot, 5-inch power forward was rated the 30th best in the country by ESPN.
Manek is one of three OU recruits in the 2017 class who hail from the Sooner State. He averaged 24 points and close to 12 rebounds per game as a high school senior last season. In most other years he might have been considered the top prep star in the state. That honor wen t instead to his OU freshman teammate Trey Young, a McDonald’s All-American who starred at Norman High School.
