NORMAN — It's been a rough year so far for Blake Griffin.
But Tuesday night, Griffin's troubles melted away for a bit at least as his No. 23 was raised to the rafters at Lloyd Noble Center at halftime of Oklahoma's 73-71 win over Baylor.
“I didn't know what I was going to feel, what to expect,” Griffin said. “Anytime I come back here, it's such a family atmosphere. It's home. I'm a little bit overwhelmed with amotion and incredibly honored to be up there.”
Griffin hasn't played since December, first due to a quadriceps injury and then a broken right hand after he hit a member of the Los Angeles Clippers equipment staff on Jan.
