Oklahoma athletic director and NCAA Tournament selection committee chairman Joe Castiglione has had an eventful travel week.
Castiglione flew into the Los Angeles area for Thursday’s Sweet 16 game between Oklahoma and Texas A&M before catching a red-eye flight to Philadelphia for his NCAA duties at Friday’s East Regional.
“I asked Toby (Keith), if there was a song, ‘Philadelphia By Morning,’” Castiglione joked after the Sooners’ win. “He said there wasn’t but there could be.”
Castiglione was hoping that he’d be able to make it back to Anaheim for Saturday’s game but wasn’t sure if his schedule would allow it.
