NORMAN — Oklahoma had plenty of sparks early in the season.
Big pitching performances out of the rotation.
Timely two-out hits.
Strong bullpen performances that shortened games.
Now, just three weeks after winning a series over top-five Texas Tech, the Sooners are struggling to find much positive.
That continued Saturday with a 5-2 loss to Kansas at L. Dale Mitchell Park that extended OU's losing streak to seven and put them at 1-9 over their last 10.
“Sometimes it takes that one deal—that one play to get you going again,” Sooners coach Pete Hughes said.
