Oklahoma baseball: Sooners get by K-State for 2nd straight series win

The Sooners improved their overall record to 30-15 and climbed above .500 again in the conference (8-7), going 3-1 last week, capped by a 6-3 win in extra innings to win the rubber game in the series over Kansas State (21-24, 6-9). With the win, Oklahoma becomes to second team in the Big 12 to reach 30 wins this season. (Baylor is the other with a record of 30-12.)

Held scoreless and with just three hits through seven innings, Oklahoma came up with three runs in the top of the eighth inning to take a 3-2 lead on Sunday, but Kansas State tied it up with a run in the bottom half of the inning and send the game to extra frames.
