MANHATTAN, Kan. — Nate Griep threw a three-hit complete game Friday night, leading Kansas State to a 5-0 Big 12 baseball victory over Oklahoma before 2,800 fans at Tointon Stadium.
Griep only allowed singles to Craig Aikin, Anthony Hermelyn and Chris Shaw. He walked two and struck out three to improve to 5-2 this season.
The Wildcats (24-25 overall, 8-11 Big 12) had all they needed after a two-run first inning against OU starter Jake Elliott. Kansas State added a run in the fourth inning and two more in the fifth inning. Shane Conlon led the ’Cats with three hits and an RBI.
