Opening act: While the Sooners will spend much of their non-conference schedule on the road, they’ll open at L. Dale Mitchell Park on Friday with the start of a three-day, four-game series against Northeastern. The first game starts at 4 p.m. and the series continues with a Saturday doubleheader. Right-handed pitcher Alec Hansen, one of the top draft prospects in this year’s class, is expected to make his debut Saturday in the first game of the doubleheader.
