Oklahoma basketball added some immediate help for next season in the form of grad transfer guard Aaron Calixte.
The Sooners have been recruiting Calixte, who comes to Norman by way of Maine, since their season came to an end in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
On Tuesday, he officially announced his decision to join the program:
Calixte was more of a combo guard than a true No. 1 for Maine this season, averaging 17 points and 3 assists per game. Maine struggled mightily this year, as the Black Bears only managed to win six games all season long.
