The game was even for two quarters, tied 32-all at the half and 66 apiece at the end of regulation, but the Sooners outscored Northwestern 10-3 in the overtime session to post a 76-69 win and improve to 11-1 on the season.
Kristian Doolittle came off the bench and led the Sooners with a team-high 14 points, six of which came in the overtime session. Brady Manek led OU with a 19-point performance as three or more Oklahoma players reached double figures in scoring for the 11th time in 12 games this season.
