No Bedlam baseball at Bricktown this year

As a result of conflicting schedules with the Oklahoma City Dodgers, there will be no Bedlam baseball games at Bricktown Ballpark this season.

Oklahoma and Oklahoma State announced Thursday that the April 27 series opener between the teams will instead be played at 7 p.m. at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium in Stillwater, OSU's home ballpark. The Dodgers play at home against the Iowa Cubs at 7:05 p.m. in a Pacific Coast League matchup.

The conflict resulted from both parties' desire to have their respective games played at night, Dodgers communications director Alex Freedman said.

“There were ongoing conversations to try and work things out on both ends," Freedman said.
