NORMAN — After her team lost its sixth consecutive game, a 74-53 defeat to No. 2-ranked Baylor on Sunday at Lloyd Noble Center, Oklahoma coach Sherri Coale remained upbeat.
“I thought we battled,” Coale said after the Sooners' longest losing streak since an eight-game stretch to end the 1997-98 season.
Coale pointed out Taylor Robertson's 21 points among the positives.
But the other side was hard to ignore as well.
Baylor had 23 offensive rebounds, leading to 23 second-chance points. The Bears also got out in transition, outscoring the Sooners 10-0 on the fast break.
