Oklahoma (10-19, 4-13 Big 12) got off to a strong start Monday night in Phog Allen Fieldhouse, jumping out to two separate seven-point leads, including a 7-0 run to start the game. Eventually, Kansas stormed back to even the score, where the game remained for the remainder of the first half until a 28-28 tie at halftime. It was just the third time all season the Jayhawks were held to 28 points or less in the first half.
The Sooners had an even stronger start to the second half, building a 12-point lead after a Kam McGusty three with 10:10 left in the game.
